💼 What Is Casual Workers?

Casual Workers is an Australian-based platform that connects people who need help with everyday jobs, like moving house, cleaning, gardening, basic labour, event assistance, and more, with people like you who are ready to lend a hand and earn money.


You choose when and where you want to work. There are no set hours and no long-term commitments.


You operate as an independent service provider or business, offering services under your own name or business name, using your own tools and equipment if needed. It is primarily assumed that all tools will be provided by the Client. If the Client requires you to bring your own tools, the Client will mention it in the job description. You are not an employee, agent, or subcontractor of the Platform. Instead, you provide services directly to Clients as an independent contractor.

✅ How It Works

  1. Fill in the registration form

    2. Make sure your profile is complete. Include your:

    • Name and contact details
    • Skills and work preferences
    • Location
  2. Receive Job Opportunities

    3. When a job matching your skills and location becomes available, you’ll receive an email from our team.

  3. Accept Job

    4. If you're available, simply confirm your acceptance in the email.

  4. Do the Job

    5. Show up on time, complete the work to a high standard, and represent yourself and our platform with professionalism and care.

  5. Get Paid

    6. Once the job is completed, you’ll receive payment directly from the client on the spot.

💸 How much do you earn?

As a Casual Worker, you are guaranteed a minimum payment of two hours per job, even if the task takes less time. The standard rate is $29 per hour, meaning you’ll earn at least $58 per completed job. Verified workers - those who provide us with the Police check, earn more.
